Privacy is part of how BuddyPept is built. Collection is kept to the bare minimum, and data is never sold.
What is collected
The calculator is free, requires no sign-up, and collects nothing. A name and email address are collected only when the “request a peptide” form is submitted, along with the name of the peptide requested.
Other research tools may request investigator information when needed. Any such information is provided voluntarily and collected only with the investigator’s knowledge and consent.
BuddyPept continues to add tools, so what is collected may change over time. This policy is updated whenever it does.
What is not collected
The BuddyPept calculator does not request or store personal health information. Calculator inputs are processed in the browser only to generate results and are not saved.
BuddyPept does not use third-party advertising or tracking pixels.
How the information is used
The name and email are used for one purpose: to give notice by email when the requested peptide is added to the library. Addresses are not added to unrelated marketing without consent.
Who it is shared with
Personal information is never sold. A small number of trusted service providers run the site, covering hosting, database, and email delivery. They process data only to provide those services to BuddyPept. Information is shared with them only as needed for that purpose, or if required by law.
Retention and choices
A request is kept only as long as needed to follow up on it. A request to see the stored information, or to delete it, can be made at any time by email, and it will be honored.
Security
Reasonable steps are taken to protect personal information, but no method of storage or transmission over the internet is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
Children
BuddyPept is not directed to children and is intended for adults. Information from minors is not knowingly collected.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page is updated.
